Privacy Policy

Clirah ("Clirah", "we", "us") is an AI systems and automation studio based in Melbourne, Australia. This policy explains what information we collect through clirah.com and our outreach activities, why we collect it, and the choices you have. It's written in plain language rather than dense legal text — if anything is unclear, email hello@clirah.com and we'll explain.

Information we collect

When you contact us

If you submit our contact form, we collect your name, email address, and message, along with basic attribution data (the page you submitted from, and where relevant, the referring site or campaign parameters). Attribution data is held only in your browser's session storage before submission — we don't use tracking cookies to collect it. Submissions are stored in our database so our team can follow up, and trigger an automatic confirmation email and an internal notification.

When we reach out to you

Separately, we run a research-driven outreach program: we identify businesses that look like a good fit for our services using publicly available sources (for example, business name, category, address, and phone number from Google's Places directory), and may send a personalised introductory email. Every outreach email includes a one-click unsubscribe link that immediately and permanently stops future contact — no account or reply required.

If you become a client

We collect whatever additional information is reasonably necessary to scope, build, and support the systems we deliver for you. That's agreed directly with you as part of the engagement, not through this website.

How we use it

We use the information above to respond to enquiries, evaluate and pursue potential client relationships, deliver and support our services, and improve our outreach so it stays relevant rather than spammy. We do not sell your information to third parties, and we do not use it for advertising.

Who we share it with

We rely on a small number of service providers to run the site and our outreach, each of whom only processes data on our behalf:

• Supabase — hosts our database (contact submissions, prospect and client records).
• Resend — delivers transactional and outreach email on our behalf.
• Google Places API — source of publicly available business listing data used for outreach targeting.
• Anthropic — used to help draft personalised outreach copy; we do not send your submitted messages to Anthropic for this purpose.

We don't share your information with anyone else, except where required by law.

Cookies

The public website does not set advertising or analytics cookies. The only cookie in use is a strictly-necessary session cookie that keeps our team logged into the password-protected admin dashboard — it isn't set for, or accessible to, ordinary visitors.

Data retention

We keep contact and prospect records for as long as they're useful for the purposes above, or until you ask us to delete them. Unsubscribing from outreach stops future contact immediately; it doesn't automatically erase historical records, which you're welcome to request separately.

Your rights

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or opt out of future contact at any time, no reason required. Email hello@clirah.com and we'll action it promptly. As an Australian business, we handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

Changes to this policy

If we materially change how we handle your information, we'll update this page and revise the date above.
